TODAY'S NEWS: I know a lot of people see a giraffe and think they're just the sweetest things, but in the wild, you have to be careful around them. A friend of mine got too close to a giraffe once, and it got his credit card and put thousands of dollars of charges on it. Some really embarrassing stuff, too. Including a bunch of monkey rentals. Which, of course, the giraffe didn't return, so my friend almost had to pay for the rentals, the late fees AND the monkeys themselves. So whenever I'm around a giraffe, I keep a hand on my wallet.
