TODAY'S NEWS: A Comic What I Like: Questionable Content. I generally don't plug mega-popular comics in this erratically-produced feature, since they really don't need me to enhance their web presence. But artist Jeph Jacques just had a birthday, and for a young guy, he does a pretty good job. On the surface, the comic appears to merely be about the day-to-day experiences of a collection of twenty-somethings who like coffee, indie music and insecurity-laden romantic relationships. Below that runs a scathing indictment of Generation Y's self-induced soullessness caused by mindless obsession with useless culture and self-congratulatory trivialization of crucial global issues. Or maybe I'm reading too much into it. My favorite QC character is Pintsize. I think he and Ping would get along quite well.
