TODAY'S NEWS: Back when I started my evannichols.com website, I made some stylistic decisions: 1) I would refer to friends and family by code names, to protect their identities (with exception for people who were already famous), and 2) I wouldn't post clear, unobstructed images of my face. This is why the logo image is just my eyes. This amused me, and resulted in photos like this, from when I was a judge at a cake contest.

Going forward, I will continue to use code names in my journal, but I've decided that I actually do want my fans and readers to recognize me. Especially with a big convention coming up. So I've chosen to post my photo here:

This is what I'll be wearing at San Diego Comic-Con (at least part of the time)! I suspect I"ll mostly hear "Who are you supposed to be?", but I can hope that someone will look at me and say "Hey, you're Dr. Eldritch!"
