THE ASK DR. ELDRITCH VOTE INCENTIVE ARTWORK CONTEST RULES:

  1. No Purchase necessary!
  2. Image should be in jpg, gif, png, tif or Photoshop psd format.
  3. Unscramble this email address: askdreldritch.com contest @
  4. Send your image as an attachment (smaller than 1M, please) to the email address.
  5. Indicate in your email the name you want to appear for the "Artwork by" credit.
  6. All submissions become the property of Evan Nichols and Ask Dr. Eldritch. Artists are granted the right to display, reproduce and publish their artwork and the finished comic as long as the finished comic is presented in full with copyright information neither obscured nor removed).
  7. Emailing artwork to me indicates that you understand that the artwork must be your own original creation, whether the source is drawn or photographic. Please do not pass off someone else's work as your own. That's just wrong.
  8. If you're using elements made available by a Creative Commons license, please indicate the source, so I can verify compliance.

THE ASK DR. ELDRITCH FAN ART CONTEST RULES:

  1. No Purchase necessary!
  2. To enter, submit your artwork prior to the specified deadline.
  3. Multiple entries per person per week are allowed.
  4. Artwork must be the original work of the person submitting it.
  5. Deadline for entries is NOON on Mondays, Pacific Time. Entries received later are disqualified. Contest sponsors are not responsible for email delays or transmission problems.
  6. Winners will be announced in the Newsletter on the Tuesday following entry deadline.
  7. Submitted artwork becomes the property of AskDrEldritch.com, and may be cropped, edited or altered, displayed on the AskDrEldritch.com website or print media, or used in electronic messaging or promotional materials. No monetary compensation for artwork is given. Submission of artwork indicates understanding and agreement to these conditions.
  8. If no entry meets the judge's standards of artistic merit or suitability to the topic, no winner will be selected.
  9. Artwork that does not meet standards of taste will be disqualified.
  10. All judging decisions are final. Challenges to judge's decisions may result in disqualification.
  11. AskDrEldritch.com reserves the right to change publication dates of columns.
  12. Contest void where prohibited by law.
