TODAY'S NEWS: I did go see 'Watchmen' this weekend, and enjoyed it very much. I do, however, think that you're far more likely to enjoy the movie if you've read the graphic novel first. There's way too much going on to absorb during the movie's running time, and I think that's been a problem for many of the reviewers. So it may not work as well as a stand-alone film, but as a live-action companion piece to the comic, it performs superheroically.

I also spent time this weekend on the Podcast Project! Having to refamiliarize myself with Garage Band took a while, as did searching for the sound effects and interstitial music. But I did manage to record dialog that I'm happy with, and I look forward to making more progress! One problem I noticed is that some recordings I've received from fans are too quiet, and when I ratchet up the gain, there's a lot of hiss. I may have to have people rerecord some dialog, if I can't figure out a way to increase the volume without the noise.
